This craft is perfect for valentines day or any other day, really! It helps students recognize that 10 within 10 is 100. It emphasizes counting by tens, small motor skills, and number writing! I use Q-tips for 10 dot painting in each heart and then sharpies to writes numbers (by tens). Then I took their picture of them holding a ruler to be used!

Every morning I use the number of days we have been in school to study tally marks, even and odd, how to spell number words, working with the hundreds chart (one more, one less, ten more, ten less). These cards are 3 inches wide and 2.5 inches tall. The borders are color coded (fives, evens, tens) with solid black numbers 1-100. The colors used for the borders are blue, yellow, green, and grey. A nice large font was used for easy visibility. It will be best to print on cardstock then have laminated for durability.

This is a great fall glyph to do for the bulletin board. I created this glyph to put on a large bulletin board and created a big tree decorated with fall colored leaves I purchased at the store. The glyph is a math glyph that shows students understanding of greater and less than. It was a very fun glyph. You can have the students cut out the shapes or have them pre-cut before the activity to save time. I have included a sample acorn or you can find one of your own. Have Fun!
