Prompting Visual for Staff Working with Individuals with Special Needs
This is a visual of a general prompt hierarchy to display in the classroom. Prompts are ordered in terms of their degree of intrusiveness with full physical prompts described as most intrusive. This visual is a useful reminder for staff and a quick way to provide information to substitutes and other adults coming into the classroom to work with students. Each of the prompts has an abbreviation for use when taking data.

I was inspired to make this poster after seeing a similar one from Jenna at Speech Room News. Because the related services professionals work together (both physically and in spirit), I created this to encompass occupational, physical, and speech therapy. I have created this in a poster size (18x24 inches), and in a regular letter paper size. This is the poster size file.
