Thanksgiving Syllable Sort
Kindergarten and first grade students will strengthen their phonemic awareness and syllabication skills as they celebrate Thanksgiving. This is a humorous Thanksgiving Reader's Theater I wrote for an RTI class. It is appropriate for grades 3-5. There are nine speaking parts and takes about 11 minutes to perform. Synopsis: Dad orders a turkey for the family Thanksgiving dinner. The fun begins when they go to pick it up and discover he has mistakenly ordered a live turkey!
