Teaching has been my dream since I was little. I spent my days playing the teacher role turning my younger brothers and sisters into my students. My elementary art school teacher was the reason why I became a teacher, so I strive to be the amazing teacher she was to me and influence my students lives each day.
I graduated with a 3.87 graduating in the top 15% of my class.
I earned a B.F.A in Art Education with a focus in Ceramics in 2006 from Bowling Green State University. I also have a Master's degree in Special Education completed in 2011 from the University Of Nevada Las Vegas.
I believe my sincere love for children allows me to be a successful teacher. I'm amazed at the knowledge children can learn if they are given the opportunity, and I look forward each day to teach what I know and also learn right along with my students.
