Use The Distributive Property to Solve Multiplication Problems
In this lesson, we will look at multiplying by at least one number greater than 10. It allows students to take a large factor and break it apart into smaller numbers (addends). Each addend is multiplied by the other factor. Then the partial products are added to reach the answer. It sounds more difficult than it is.
