I use these songs during calendar time in my classroom. I allow the children to create the hand motions, clapping, snapping, etc. to help them make it fun! We sing these daily. I have ex-students that tell me they still sing some of the songs to help them remember how to spell the months. I also find that after a few days into each month, students no longer look around the room to spell the month when they need to write it.
