I created the original version 10 years ago for my 5th grade class, who absolutely loved it! Since then, students have returned from college and let me know that these lyrics remained in their heads throughout high school whenever they needed to find the mean, median, or mode. Probability Math Song
This is a song about how to find probability and use it to predict to the tune of "Royals" by Lorde. I use it as a call and response when students get stuck and don't know what to do. I'll watch students mouthing the words on tests and quizzes to help them remember. I've also gotten public performances when I've run into students outside of school.
