Grant: Winning Proposal for an Outdoor Campus Picnic Area

This is a winning grant proposal for an outdoor campus picnic area. Lowe's Toolbox for Education foundation awarded $4,000 in 2008 to purchase materials to build a picnic area on our campus. We were able to create an outdoor area for activities and class lunch time. The area was created by installing white vinyl fence panels for the backdrop and adding mulch, plants, bushes, trees and picnic tables. I've found brochures are very tricky and time consuming to get the way you want them to look, so it is so nice to have a good foundation broch
