The Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister Introductory Lesson
This is a lesson for kindergarten/ junior infants/ reception classes. (age 3-7). It would be used when first introducing the text to the children. Like all my lessons it outlines exactly how to teach the lesson with objectives, resources, shorthand version of lesson, detailed introduction, development and conclusion, modes of assessment and key questions to ask in each of the section. Vocabulary Book
This is a word document that I print and cut in half to use as vocabulary journals during a novel study. This can be adapted to use with any subject. I have it set up to accompany the book Flat Stanley in Space, but this in an editable word document so you can change out the title picture. The vocabulary pages include room for 5 words per page and boxes for the students to define the words and to illustrate them.

Leveled Library Key
Use this key as a graphic orgaziner for your students when using book bags in your classroom. Students will then match up the stickers on the key to the stickers on the book and identify the level that they are on.

Santa's Syllables
This paper has multiple pictures that are concerning Christmas, then it has boxes beside each. Students are to color in the amount of boxes for however many syllable that picture (word) is. Then they are to write the number beside the boxes on a line provided. For example, Santa would have 2 boxes colored and the number 2 written on the line. This is a great reading station during December!
