Experimental Inquiry Based Learning ToolKit {Printable & Digital}

Experimental inquiry-based learning is an approach to learning science where students make discoveries about concepts through observation, asking questions, and experimentation rather than having information handed to them through direct-instruction. Students design and lead their own experimental inquiry investigations.This particular product is a toolkit that provides all of the guiding materials that students would need to conduct an unlimited number of scientific open inquiry investigations.

If you have looked at my other products you probably see a trend. I like hands on activities, I like things that students can take home, I like to use content that requires some critical thinking and problem solving. This project requires minimal tools. In this quick activity, your students will learn about their new lab or group partners! Excellent Back-To-School activity but also great for an icebreaker mid-year if you switch up groups. This activity requires no setup and can be shared via your LMS such as Schoology, Google Classroom, or Blackboard. Great way to create a relaxed environment where all students feel valued.Activity instructions are included.

This is the template that I use for my seating chart. I have Kagan desks, so finding a seating chart that shows the actual layout of my classroom has been impossible. I write the number on the desk using a sharpie or expo marker (don't worry, they come off with a Clorox wipe). The students then come in, find their name and their number, and then find the desk with that same number.I hope this helps!

Because teachers are responsible for having eyes on their students at all times, I post this sign on my classroom door to keep students from entering an empty classroom when I have stepped out.
