This FREE forensics activity has the students sort through 2 clues to determine which suspect is guilty of stealing the dogs. The crime itself is fairly easy to solve. Students should use measurement skills as well as fingerprint identification.  You can determine how difficult the task is by requiring a specific number of measurements. You can also require a specific number of  matching points, or after aligning the fingerprints, require a specific number of of matching minutiae.
