I created this dice game for students to practice exponents after our multiplication lesson on exponents. The strategy of the game is to choose the base and exponent that will give you the highest answers, because at the end the students will have to total up their answers in order to see who wins with the highest total. This helps with number sense, multiplication practice, and understanding exponential form.

I based this check list off the turtle head multiplication youtube video. This method helps students who are struggling with multi-digit multiplication algorithms. This game is called Dump It! What you do is put a set amount of red and yellow math counters into a cup. Students will shake the cup and dump it in their tray. They then will count how many counters landed yellow and how many landed red and write that number on the sheet. They have so much fun with this activity!

Two-Digit or Three-Digit Subtraction with Regrouping Battle
This is a 2 player subtraction game, that could be used as a center. It has the rules for the center included. The students will play this game very similar to war, where they will draw two cards from the top. Then, they will subtract the two cards and whoever has the largest difference gets to keep the hand drawn.
There is a set of cards for 2-digit play, or 3-digit play or both. It is highly recommended that you laminate the cards for repeated plays.
