Created by
Amanda Peavy
This is a letter I send asking for volunteers to speak at our "Career Day." It includes a letter to send to every parent to begin with and then one to send later to the parents who do volunteer. There is also a questionnaire for the quest speakers to fill out to prepare them. Every October we talk about careers and community helpers. Hello amazing teachers! Our students are part of a generation that is totally tied to technology. While many of our kids receive some tech instruction, I find that schools are often app/skills (ex. typing) focused and don't get down to fundamentals like how signals travel leaving an unnecessary "mystery" around technologies. It is therefore important that we talk more about technology fundamentals starting as early as possible. So, I thought it might be fun to do a lesson on the basi
