How to write a Friendly Letter and address an Envelope Worksheet and Powerpoint
Use this FREE teacher-friendly and student-tested, no-prep resource as a quick and easy introduction to the parts of a friendly letter, or as a review activity. It is suitable for grades 3 and up. This download includes a powerpoint show in pdf form and a 1-page worksheet of guided notes to go along with the slides. Students will fill in (i.e. name) the parts of a friendly letter and address an envelope. The powerpoint also includes an introduction, quiz, and an answer key.

Career Day Letter to Volunteers
This is a letter I send asking for volunteers to speak at our "Career Day." It includes a letter to send to every parent to begin with and then one to send later to the parents who do volunteer. There is also a questionnaire for the quest speakers to fill out to prepare them.
Every October we talk about careers and community helpers. On "Career Day" students get to dress up as the career they would choose as an adult.
