Opinion Writing K-1 "I Wanna Iguana" Writing Craft
Here is an opinion writing craft I created to help my kinder babies, soon-to-be firsties with opinion writing. Standard:ELAGSEKW1: Use a combination of drawing, dictating, and writing to compose opinion pieces in which they tell a reader the topic or the name of the book they are “writing” about and state an opinion or preference about the topic or book (e.g., My favorite book is...).

October Sight Word Sentence Review - Fire Safety
This is a cute 15 minute lesson to review beginner sight words. What better way for the kids to learn than through following directions and shared reading. My kids loved this lesson, we do it once a week to review new sight words. More to come!
