This is the first story my Foundation students learn in Indonesian. Through the story students will learn numbers to 5, useful classroom language (sit, be quiet, listen), the exclamation "aduh!" and fun action verbs. The text is written in different colours to draw attention to repeated sentence components, as well as particular categories of words (eg numbers, verbs). Once students are familiar with the story, they will also enjoy acting and retelling the story.
