Pass the Pumpkin Song/Game with Orff Arrangement for Smart Boards
A student favorite for Halloween and the month of October! Using the traditional folk song and game, I created an Orff arrangement for when students get "out" of the game. Spring Rhythm Fun: Exploring Duration of Sound-SMARTBOARD/NOTEBOOK EDITION

Sol-Mi Patterns (Valentines day themed)
I used this with my first graders for exploring sol and mi patterns. As an individual assessment, each student came up to the board and created their pattern while other students were busy with something else (one heart for ta, two small hearts for ti-ti, and the Z for a rest). They sang their patterns with me! They loved the activity.
