Seven months after Operation Bolo, the Air Force interviewed Colonel Robin Olds for its Oral History Program. He cloaks his technical expertise in an earthy prose that expects the reader to interpret the subtext behind the humor and candor.On page 15 of a 98 page interview, Olds describes the F-4 Phantom as a great aircraft with a few “peculiarities.”  He described one occasion where his squadron in July of 1966  ruined 38 General Electric J79.  "It wasn't sucking up stuff on the ramp or runway
