These are some of the go to report card comments I use to encourage my students at all levels.
As an art teacher my primary goal is to develop a love of art in each of my students and to be someone who fuels their desire to create.

Lesson Plan Template for Art Education
This is a lesson plan template for art teachers. It is based on elementary but I believe it could be used for middle school and high school art teachers as well.
This will be my first year teaching art. I was lucky enough to stumble upon some old paper lesson plans from the teacher before me and I loved her format. So I recreated it in a digital version and I did so in Word so that I could share it with others and they would be able to edit it to fit their needs.

Art Class Basic Critique
I wanted to give fellow Art teachers a basic critique paper to help score their pieces after the Art Critique is all said and done. I then write up a one page report using the things I circled or jotted down during their presentation. Asking them a few questions, pointing out the Elements and Principles. First Day of Art Letter Template - WORD DOC
This is a word doc template for an introductory "Welcome to Art"-style letter for middle school students. I have included prompts for you to insert your own relevant info (name, school name, class details, social media/contact info).

This is a comprehensive guide of the 7th Grade National Visual Arts Core Standards that were released in 2015. The essential questions, explanations and anchor standards are listed in order in an easy to use, print, copy and paste worksheet. At the end of the document is an easy copy and paste list of standards that can be used to add to any lesson or unit plan as needed.
