Description
With this Art Room Escape Game, your upper level students will solve various puzzles and use clues to get the correct series of numbers to open the combination lock and escape the art room. This art escape room is a perfect activity for back-to-school, end of the school year, class party, an activity before a break or just to excite your learners. These fun activities will build cognitive skills, as well as improve team building skills and class culture. Engage your students in some competitive fun and problem-solving skills!
Your students work in small groups of 2-4 students to...
- Follow instructions to sequentially solve puzzles and gain clues.
- Complete an art history word search to stimulate cognitive skills such as pattern recognition, problem-solving, and verbal reasoning.
- Cut and arrange a puzzle to gain finger strength, perseverance and problem-solving skills.
- Solve a maze to improve spatial skills and visual perception.
- Decipher a code to solve a word clue and improve critical thinking strategies.
- Complete a dot-to-dot and fold an agamagraph puzzle to build fine motor skills.
- Count art supplies to build accuracy skills and attention to details.
- Use 21st century skills to complete the task in a timely manner. Students will complete the escape room with one class period - roughly 35-40 minutes.

- PDF version of all pages to be printed. This is a hands on activity. A pencil, eraser, and scissors are needed to complete the puzzles.
