Name Tags with Glyph and Writing Assignment
This is a great back to school activity or engaging writing lesson.
I have my students make their name tags on the first day of school. It is a 'stand up' style name tag that I can see easily as I learn their names. R.A.C.E.S. Writing Paper with Rubric
Writing paper with built-in R.A.C.E.S. (Restate the question, Answer the question, Cite the text, Explain your evidence, and Summarize) rubric for student self-assessment. This is the standard writing paper in my classroom, and has been wildly successful with student self-assessment, along with learning about what CCSS they are writing to achieve. Bar paper for student writing with space for teacher's comments
This mimics the old fashioned bar printer paper. I was thinking it would be a great way to help my students to skip lines when writing rough drafts so that I could edit.
The line width is close to that of wide ruled paper. Lines for students to write on are very dark.
