I use this to have my students prepare for a weekly conversation about the news. Every Friday, we watch "The Week in Rap" (Flocabulary) and talk about what happened in the news. You might ask students to attach a copy of the news story. I differentiate by allowing them to watch, read, or listen to the news. If you have a computer station in your classroom, this could easily be a part of "Read to Self" if students use something like Time for Kids or New York Times for Kids. Could also be adapted
