Then, they will trace themselves on a large piece of butcher block paper. On that same paper, they will sketch out the life-sized doll proportions and create a body outline of what the doll would look like if it were their same height. This is a full lesson to celebrate Pi in Math! The lesson includes the lesson plan with CCSS and objective, photo of the activity being performed, direction sheet with chart to fill in for students, and a question sheet for closure. Pi Day is celebrated on March 14th, for 3-14. The students have fun proving Pi for circles.
