Grant: Winning Proposal for an Outdoor Campus Picnic Area
This is a winning grant proposal for an outdoor campus picnic area. Lowe's Toolbox for Education foundation awarded $4,000 in 2008 to purchase materials to build a picnic area on our campus. We were able to create an outdoor area for activities and class lunch time. The area was created by installing white vinyl fence panels for the backdrop and adding mulch, plants, bushes, trees and picnic tables. This was a great community project for the staff, students and parents.

Planning a Healthy Meal and Shopping Template (Special Education)
This is a meal planning guide that incorporates the 5 basic food groups. Students will use a cookbook to decide on the main course of the meal, and from there will add on side dishes to help balance the food groups presented in the meal.
