I have been teaching drama since 2018, and I am currently pursuing a MS in Applied Behavior Analysis from Georgia State University. In May of 2022, I graduated from Samford University with a BFA in Theatre for Youth and a minor in Human Development and Family Science. Currently, I am working as a behavior therapist and teaching artist. I have my registered behavior technician (RBT) certification, and I have been trained in arts integration from Wolf Trap.
I believe that arts integrated education gives youth the courage to grow. Some examples of programs or curriculums I have developed include: teaching after-school theatre programming for elementary camp; middle school students, assistant teaching college courses, teaching creative drama, movement, and music for preschool students, leading drama classes for adults with developmental disabilities, teaching pre-show and post-show workshops, facilitating online camps and classes for preschoolers and elementary to middle schoolers, using Zoom, Wakelet, Flipgrid, and Slack to enhance learning experiences, and helping elementary teachers integrate the arts in their classrooms.

I am a storyteller and educator, who seeks to inspire others through theatre. In everything that I do, including teaching, directing, performing, and managing, I brings a lens of equity and a joy of learning to the work. As a child, I was given the courage to grow through theatre and the arts and hope to help little storytellers gain their own wings to fly.
