Students create and actually see the moon phases as they change the alignment between the Earth, Moon, and Sun. You only need the following supplies (styrofoam balls, popcicle sticks or sharpened pencils, and a light without a lamp shade) as seen in the picture, along with the Lab Sheet I have created to go with this hands-on activity. Could be a 1 or 2 day activity. Answer Key included. Very easy to set up and do. My students love this-as do I. Thanks and enjoy!

It combines reading strategies and social studies government law in a very exciting way. This was so fun that my students have asked we do

Only a few students are "infected". By the end of the experiment your class can see how germs are spread both directly and indirectly. Includes instructions, data collection sheet, and

Students will then get to dissect an owl pellet to see if we can figure out anything about the owl’s habitat or its prey. When students  first see an owl pellet, they will probably think that it i
