Music History Powerpoint
This is a powerpoint detailing each musical era with important composers and facts. Over 100 slides detailing musicians from Palestrina to Dizzy Gillespie, going from the Medieval through the Jazz Era. I use this in class as a springboard to discuss and research different composers and how music changed over the years.

Beach Boys' "Kokomo" Lesson Plan and Island Project (End-of-Year)
I have created a fun, yet educational lesson plan based on the Beach Boys' Kokomo song. This is a great lesson/project to do at the end of the year after testing or any time of year. The students research the different islands or cities on islands mentioned in the song and present in class or they can make a whole production of it.
