On November 11th, we honor those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Canada played a large role in the war on terrorism and the Afghanistan war is a significant time in Canadian's war history. Students will participate in gaining information about the Afghanistan War and Canada's role from 2001-2014. Students will then select a fallen soldier of the Afghanistan war to research and summarize their service. Students can then present their soldier to the class. Canada lost 158 soldiers
