Crusades Research Project
This is a research project for students to conduct as part of learning about the Crusades during the Middle Ages in a World History or World Civilizations class.
Students are assigned (or pick) one of the nine crusades to research and create a multimedia presentation for. Making a cuneiform tablet
This is an activity I love doing with my students after teaching them about Mesopotamia. It's fun and allows them to be creative while giving them the opportunity to experiment a bit how ancient writing systems worked. Though it is designed for high school students, it can easily be adapted for other ages (both younger or older).The PPT includes a list of needed materials, detailed instructions with images, and a chart to translate letters from our alphabet into cuneiform.
