Memoir Analysis Stations Chart - Memoir Excerpts, Close Reading, Analysis
Students read a different memoir excerpt at each station in a small group. Then, students complete the chart with information about the memoir excerpt. Some Find Research "Puzzling"
As an introduction to research, I bring out the puzzles! I used to do this with cereal puzzles and then bring in cereal for a "snack." However, you can do this with ANY puzzle. Whatever is pictured in the puzzle, have students create QUESTIONS. For example, if you have a panda puzzle...what do students wonder about the panda? This is also a great way to pull in cross-curriculum.
