I believe that the key to successful teaching is to engage the learner. I believe in utilizing all avenues of learning style - especially oral, visual, and hands on learning. I teach middle and high school students with both learning disabilities and social emotional behavioral issues. My classroom is self-contained and I teach all subject areas including Life Skills. My classroom consists of 6th - 11th grade male students. All of my lessons can be easily differentiated.
As a special education teacher, I believe that we all learn differently. My goal is for my students to come away from a learning experience excited about the new knowledge that they've acquired. Our days are filled with different ways of learning: written, visual, and lots of hands-on experiences.

I am a widow with three young adult children. Two of my children are currently in college. Selling my lessons is a great opportunity for me to provide for my children's education. My favorite flower is cosmos...love this delicate flower.
