In Judaism a very important tradition is called “Tikkun Olam,” which means “repairing the world.” This song was written for my 2009 fourth-grade class. This song is based on a poem of the same name, written by William Edward Hickson, 1803-1870. Apparently at one time students were required to memorize this poem in order to graduate from school.
