Frankensong: A rap summary of Frankenstein
This is a rap summary of Frankenstein, hitting all the high points of the story. It would be best used as a fun way to summarize the story after the students have completed reading it. Rhyming, similar to using acronyms or flashcards, can help a student to remember content. So, give Frankensong a try! A copy of the lyrics are available upon request at no extra charge.

This sing along song can be used to introduce your kids to the book, "Rootbeer Beard" by Stephen Butterman. This is a Dan O'Connor composition with lyrics by Penelope Dyan. Ambush - by Tim O'Brien - Audio Recording
This is a quiet, ambient recording of an excerpt from Tim O'Brien's The Things They Carried. It runs approximately 6:45 and contains some images of combat violence, as one would expect of a recollection of a Vietnam in-country tour experience.
This story is very useful for discussions of regret, universal theme, war, peace, and a host of other related topics.
