Magistra Mateos' Latin Store

I have been teaching Latin for six years. The bulk of my experience is with grades six through ten, but I have also taught high school upperclassmen and college undergraduates. My passion is for teaching beginner/novice level Latin language learners.

I love being creative with interactive, multi-modal, engaging presentations and activities. My materials incorporate comprehensible input, the communicative classroom, the reading method, and connections to other subject areas (e.g. English, science).

I earned my MAT in Latin and Classical Humanities at UMASS Amherst and my BA in Psychology and Linguistics at the University of Colorado .

Salvē! My name is Magistra Mateos. Welcome to my store! I have been teaching Latin for six years, mainly in Colorado!I believe anyone can learn Latin, and learning Latin should be fun! My favorite learners to work with are absolute Latin language beginners. Many of my materials can be used starting on Day 1 of a Latin program. My products are suitable for novice level Latin students of any age, including Middle School, High School, and Homeschool programs.
