This "Latin and Your Muscles" poster set includes six 11x8.5" posters. One is the title page, the other five each explain one muscle whose name comes from Latin.
Each muscle poster includes:
- Name of the muscle
- Picture of the muscle
- Illustrated etymology of all parts of the muscle name that are from Latin
Ideas for how to use these posters:
- Brief presentation in Latin class, science, or PE class
- Bulletin board display
- Outreach - Latin can be interesting to students who are interested in anatomy, medical fields, or athletics and weightlifting!
Purpose:
- To emphasize connections between Latin and the other academic subjects, like science/anatomy!
- To encourage interest in studying Latin!
