This "Latin in Neuroscience" poster set includes ten 11x8.5" posters. One is the title page, the other nine each explain one brain structure whose name comes from Latin.

Each brain structure poster includes:

• Name of the brain structure
• Latin word the name comes from
• Description of the brain structure
• Explanation of why the structure is so named
• Illustration of the brain structure

Ideas for how to use these posters:

• Brief presentation in Latin class or science class
• Bulletin board display
• Outreach - Latin can be useful to students who want to study medicine or science
