Description
This story of Actaeon's death after seeing Diana bathing, written for beginner Latin readers.
Each page has a simple Latin sentence with an illustration on the front, repeated on the back of with an English translation added underneath the sentence. This format empowers students to read the Latin independently and then confirm or refine their understanding when they turn the page and see the English. This story can be used for student-directed reading (free voluntary reading), to introduce the story of Actaeon before reading a harder version of the myth, when there is a substitute teacher or a teacher who won't be able to answer the students' translation questions, or for independent study.
