Supplemental Notebook Rubric for FOSS Science Curriculum
This is a helpful supplement to the FOSS Science Curriculum and can also easily be adapted to any science curriculum. The FOSS Science Curriculum does not give much guidance for how to grade students. In my class, the notebook grade was 60% of the science grade and this is the rubric I used. Students learned how to keep organized science journals and I successfully used this rubric for years.
