This scale drawing project typically takes 3-4 class periods for students to complete. They begin by selecting a cartoon character or logo and print it on an 8.5x11 paper. We then use poster boards and meter/yard sticks to create grids and scale each square one by one. We focus on each step at a time to break down the process into bite-sized pieces.
