Creative Culminating Activity for a Mapping Unit

This culminating activity works wonderfully as a way to assess to see if students understood your instruction related to maps, map keys, cardinal directions, and map symbols.

The opening sheet gives students an outline of what is expected of them in the project. It includes a rubric for a self check and an example of a completed project.

A bonus activity is included. It is a sheet that incorporates time skills and navigating through the place you created a map of. There is an example of a completed sheet for this as well.
