Roller Coaster Design - Transformations of Functions

I created this project for my IB Approaches and Analysis Course. This is also useful for Algebra 2 and Pre-Calculus courses. All three courses heavily use transformations of functions and can apply the parent functions to this course. This 13 page document with calendar and table of contents took me at least 12 days to complete from beginning to end, but it was worth it for the students to engage in meaningful conversations.

This is the summative test for Unit 2. As all my evaluations I break down into 3 parts:Foundational 55%Moderate 36%High Challenge 9%You could weight these sections differently. The idea here is that most students should be pretty close to 100% on the Foundational and the Moderate sections. The High Challenge is separating the A- from the very high A's on the exam.
