I will not be using a word wall this upcoming year in 3rd but being that I am going to be in an ICT (inclusive) setting, I want all students to have access to sight words that they SHOULD know by now. I printed and laminated a few of these and am going to place them in my writing center for those students that choose to use them for independent work. Differentiated Spring Comprehension Activity for Special Ed: Boardmaker symbols
This comprehension sheet is perfect for teaching students about spring. There are two worksheets that are the same but differentiated for different levels. The first requires students to use a word bank to fill in the blanks. The second has boxes where students fill in the blank by cutting out the picture from an answer sheet with Boardmaker symbols. Students are given four choices for each question, then cut out the correct one and glue it in the space provided.

Sentence Snakes writing activity using common sight words
Sentence Snakes lets your class create their own sentence using 100 of the most common sight words. Let your students write a sentence, then find each word from the printables and cut them out.
