This is a brief introduction to kinetic and potential energy. Within the PowerPoint, the differences of kinetic and potential energy are described and related to real-life situations. There is also a slide which introduces the Toy Lab. For this lab, you would need to collect various toys (slinkys, plastic jumping frogs, poppers, yo-yos, tops, wind-up toys...etc) and ask students to illustrate/write about the kinetic and potential energy of the toys. Finally, I have included a list of website
