This activity uses coffee filters and water-soluble ink pens to make beautiful snowflakes to use as classroom decorations during the holidays! In the second part, students build a launcher to help the turkey “escape” from the farm. Slime Science Experiment and Differentiated Sequence Writing Activity
My kiddo's are OBSESSED with slime and are constantly making it- they even trade it and sell it to each other! I decided to tap into this interest as a way to introduce sequencing. I adapted this recipe and you can find a ton of different ones on the internet depending on what ingredients you want to use. This one calls for school glue, contact solution, baking soda, and food coloring. You could also add some glitter glue!
