What educators are saying

Such as fun project! My son had a great time integrating some of the components of this project into his Science Fair Project!

Description

Everything you need to win first place…
This is an experiment I completed with a third grade class this year. Included is title, purpose, hypothesis, variables, multiple data tables, graph, materials, procedure, conclusion and student sheets for all of the above. It is an experiment about the density and buoyancy of soda vs. diet soda. I used mini soda cans in this experiment.

I have included it in PDF and in powerpoint so that you can edit it to fit your science board!

If you have any questions or need assistance with your experiment, please email me at pennylundquist1@gmail.com.

Measure and estimate liquid volumes and masses of objects using standard units of grams (g), kilograms (kg), and liters (l). Add, subtract, multiply, or divide to solve one-step word problems involving masses or volumes that are given in the same units, e.g., by using drawings (such as a beaker with a measurement scale) to represent the problem.
