This a set of 40 small cards that I created to use with an interactive notebook. On each card is either a property or a change that can be classified as chemical or physical. These can be used in a variety of ways.

This is a great game to review atomic structure and how to use the periodic table to find the subatomic particles.
How it works:
• The game includes 18 Bohr Models of atoms of different elements. I laminate the models so that I can reuse them from year to year.
• I place the 18 laminated atomic models around the room creating 18 stations. Students work in groups of 2 and rotate through the 18 stations working as a team.

Forces and Motion Test Review
This is a fun study game for middle to high school students. Students work on problems in groups. Teachers should keep a copy of all group questions, and have student come to show their work to answer them, they should have a separate set projected on the board. I have used an overhead camera with plastic sheet protectors, with the slides inside, so students can write directly on the question they are answering.

Egg Drop Contraption
Using the Engineering Design Process students will use this worksheet to guide them through the steps when creating their own egg dropping device. We used a window in our building that is 20ft from the ground and raw eggs. The eggs we inserted into their protoype and dropped it from the window. To see if their prototype was successful we would see if the egg cracked. This is a great post-TCAP activity that is still working on scientific skills.
