Over 20 practice problems of graphing sine, cosine, and tangent. I created these worksheets with scaffolding on the different transformations. I had a hard time finding ones that used accurate scales and gave the students plenty of practice with different types. One of the worksheets has graphs without scales so they can create their own.

I use this worksheet in my Pre-Calculus classes to study (as a whole class) for the Trig Proof quiz. In my class, this activity is called "Check Yo' Skills." Students need to -Write the trig expression as the sine, cosine, or tangent of an angle -Simplify the trig expression to a single term -Prove the trigonometric identity -Find the exact value of each trig expression using a sum or difference identity -Find all solutions in the interval zero to 2*pi without using a calculator bu giving exact

Augmented Matrices, Row Operations and Row-Echelon Form Guided Notes

These notes introduce matrices and matrix notation, rewriting a system of linear equations as an augmented matrix, row operations, and using row operations to get the augmented matrix into row-echelon form in order to solve the system of equations. There are enough problems within the guided notes to use an example for instruction, then have the students practice what was shown using the example. I used these notes in an honors precalculus course, but they could also be used in an advanced alg

This document is a review of equations of circles and properties of ellipses. It is nice to make sure students understand these conic sections before introducing hyperbolas. Students must have full knowledge of the equations of circles, full knowledge of properties of ellipses, and eccentricity. Answer key is not included, but can be worked out fast by a teacher. Thank you for your support.

Determinants and Cramers Rule Guided Notes

These guided notes cover how to find the determinant of a 2x2 and a 3x3 matrix, and how to use Cramer's Rule to solve a system of linear equations in two or three variables. I used them in an honors precalculus course, but they could be adapted for use in an advanced algebra 2 course or a non-honors precalculus course. There are enough examples so that you can demonstrate each skill, then have the student practice that skill before moving on.

This is a logarithmic and exponential functions test which would work well in an Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, or Math 12 course. This test is a combination of multiple choice, short answer, and extended response problems. The expected time to complete this test would be approximately one hour. This test could also be used as a study guide for a unit on logarithms and exponents.
