I've taught high school mathematics for 28 years, including Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, Honors Pre-Calculus, and Probability and Statistics. I also taught for 2 years at the college level prior to becoming a high school teacher.
I have an interactive teaching style. I love guided notes, but I utilize them in a student-centers manner, with the students generating the notes and me being the scribe. I think it's important that students have a place to hold their thinking and believe that some type of guided notes always saves time and allows for more discourse during a lesson.

I LOVE TEACHING MATH and building positive relationships with my students. I also love to knit and exercise, watch my son play football (he's headed to college on a football scholarship) and read, color, and watch Netflix with my daughter.
