Venn Diagrams are used in all subject areas to compare and contrast. The Button Box by Margarette S. This is intended to help students identify their areas of strength and areas that need focus based on their NWEA Math data. I have student files that we keep these strips in. Students bring them out when getting ready to test again to compare their results and see how their data has improved. Students also use these to set up their Khan Academy Mappers work. For this activity, my class set this image as their background on pickids and completed a web search for the base ten blocks and counting chips for the tens frames section They then typed in the other responses. If you are not 1-1 you could easily complete this activity on paper and students could draw in the base ten blocks and tens frames. I think this is a great way to see if students are able to identify and represent numbers in different ways.

Then play a stand up game to reveal how the 2D and 3D objects were placed. Laminate and use in a center/station for individual understanding. Thank you! Chasity
