TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a fifth year teacher on the South Side of Chicago. I spent my first four years teaching 2nd grade and now I teach 1st grade to a wonderful, challenging group of kids with a whole new set of needs.

MY TEACHING STYLE

As a teacher, my teaching style is strict and nurturing and my classroom is colorful and organize. I strive to make my classroom an area where all of the expectations, consequences and activities are clear. I want every student to leave my classroom knowing they had a home for the last year with a teacher who loved them and really wanted to help them grow.
